Introducing Spandex Fabric

Spandex, also known as Lycra in China, is a synthetic fiber with high elasticity. Main characteristics:

High elasticity: Spandex can stretch up to 500% to 700% and can quickly return to its original shape.

Strength and durability: Spandex has higher strength and wear resistance than rubber, and is lighter.

Chemical resistance: It has good tolerance to common chemicals such as sweat, detergents, oils and greases.

Low moisture absorption: It absorbs only 0.3% to 1% of its own weight, so it has good quick-drying properties.

Application areas:

Due to its excellent elasticity and durability, spandex is widely used in clothing that requires high elasticity, and is common in sportswear, tights, swimwear, underwear, socks, etc. Usually, spandex is blended with other fibers to retain the appearance and texture of other fibers while increasing elasticity.
